World Bird Sanctuary

The 305 acres of Missouri hardwood forest is home to various types of birds including bald eagles, owls, hawks, falcons, vultures, parrots, reptiles, mammals and so much more. You can take the trail and see live exhibits of these animals. The sanctuary also has a wildlife hospital, which takes care of the sick and injured animals and as well as to newborn birds and animals. Several programs are also offered by the sanctuary especially for those who come in groups. Educational programs cover various wildlife and environmental topics including Owl Laboratory, Prairie Preservation, Extreme Ecosystems, Mammal Mania and many more. You should also watch out for their free seasonal shows.
